Greg L. Taylor has extensive expertise in all aspects of the telecommunications industry. Mr. Taylor has focused his work on transactional, litigation and regulatory issues associated with the sale and resale by interexchange carriers (IXCs) of interstate and international long distance services and the sale and resale of local services by competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs).

Prior to joining Technology Law Group in 2006, Mr. Taylor served as Vice President and General Counsel of Matrix Telecom, Inc. Matrix, a subsidiary of Platinum Equity, is an Oklahoma City-based integrated provider of intrastate and interstate telecommunications services to small and medium size businesses nationwide. While at Matrix, Mr. Taylor provided legal counsel and advice in connection with a number of multimillion-dollar acquisitions, managed complex federal and state court litigations and arbitration cases, negotiated service agreements with dozens of telecommunications carriers, including each of the major facilities-based carriers, and managed the preparation and filing of applications to obtain nationwide local service authority for Matrix. Mr. Taylor has also appeared in proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission and many state public service commissions.

Prior to his tenure at Matrix, Mr. Taylor served as Vice President and General Counsel to DCA Services, which provided billing and back-office outsourcing solutions to the numerous companies in the telecommunications industry. While with DCA, Mr. Taylor managed and worked on a diverse set of legal issues, including, intellectual property, contract drafting, employment law, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and business development matters.

Mr. Taylor received his B.S. in business administration from Southern Nazarene University in 1988, his M.A. in communications from Regent University in 1990, and his J.D. from Oklahoma City University in 1999. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Federal Communications Bar Association.
